This Screenplay/Scriptwriting delivery will look at the following:
1. The relationship between the script and actors, directors, producers and other stakeholders
2. What makes a ‘good’ story/narrative development
3. Presentation of your script
4. Pitching your script
Alby James is a theatre director and a creative producer for film and television drama. He also designs and runs training and project development programmes for writers, directors and producers, supporting them in producing commercially viable and creatively adventurous feature films and high-end television drama series.
He was trained by the BBC as a film and radio drama producer and director and has been working in film, television and radio drama since 1994. Prior to this he had a successful 15-year career as a theatre director both as a freelance director and as artistic director of Temba Theatre Company, an Arts Council-funded national touring company. Alby was born and grew up in the north London district of Crouch End.
