With the increasing choice available to producers, filmmakers and production companies from various manufacturers, there are lots of good and bad options to choose from. Be they square, rectangle, ring-light, circle, on camera, off camera, big or small, we’ll cover it all along with the pros and cons of LED lighting options on the market.
We’ll shed light on LED technology, it’s capabilities and pitfalls for use in media and film production, leaving you better informed, educated and confident about the LED lighting options available to you.
Shurwin Harewood is a freelance media trainer with an interest in digital and social media convergence. He’s worked as tutor at Ravensbourne College a Skillset Academy on BA courses covering Moving Image, Broadcast and Post – Production. In addition to this he’s worked at various organizations either running or delivering courses courses covering video production, lighting, camera operation and post production.
