Tim Reid Seminar - Blacks in the Age of Forgetfulness: Where Do We Go From Here?
Film info: A seminar with American actor Tim Reid (sitcom Sister, Sister) who will tell us about his mission to encourage filmmakers to take charge of the redefinition of people of African descent. Reid will also offer a scholarship to a British filmmaker to his Legacy Media Institute (LMI) based in Virginia, USA. Built on the same model as Robert Redford’s Sundance, the LMI is a support system for diverse, independent film artists with a state-of-the-art facility providing training in filmmaking, business and media production. The awardee will be announced at the Shorts Awards.
