BJ aka Overlord X
Bio: The name is BJ but I’m also known as Overlord X. I I’m a Music producer/ award winning Film Director and Photographer and run a small multi media company called MO-AM Masters.
I Have always had a passion for the creative arts and I have been taking photos and film directing for the last 5 years but been doing music most of my life. Though Photography started off as hobbies at the beginning, my photography allowed me to view the world thru a lens which taught me a lot about film making.
I starting shooting low budget videos in 2005 and since then have shot over 60 music videos that have appeared on a numerous of music TV channels. My first break into film making came when I was asked "how cheap can I shoot a feature film' by a script writer who had access to some funds. We had a chat and then within 3 months I was shooting my first film as a feature which came only one year from starting shooting videos.
Although the actual production of the film was completed due to tragic circumstances with the writer the film was never finished or released. This gave me the confidence to write, produce and shoot movies and from then till now I have shot 7 short films 2 which have won awards.
My focus now is to make another feature which I have already written and create my own platform to gain exposure so watch this space .
