Call for submissions – Are you the next Hype Williams?

As part of the Black filmmaker (Bfm) International Film Festival (BIFF) in September ‘07, we’re scouring the whole of the UK to seek out fresh and inventive music video directors.

We want to celebrate the directorial side of music video production and to showcase your innovation, creativity, imagination and skill.

Music videos aren’t just respected and enjoyed for the music alone. We get just as excited and sometimes more excited by the visuals, the clever camera work, the use of animation or the funny storyline.

We are looking for submissions from UK based filmmakers of African heritage.

Your submission will be entered into a live competition being held on 8th September 2007 in London.

8 x runner’s up will have their music video screened

2 x winners will be voted by the audience and become finalists of Project Talent UK

Project Talent UK is your opportunity to work with established directors, music producers, singers, make-up artists, stylists and photographers in a "Fame Academy" style programme.
